With her heartfelt songwriting, warm vocals, and “West Coast Country” edge, Julia Lyons is quickly emerging as one of country music’s most promising new voices. The 20-year-old Temecula native has already caught the attention of Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, and Riley Green, performing everywhere from Whiskey Jam and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row to the San Diego Padres stadium and the OC Fair, while sharing stages with Chayce Beckham, Taylor Holder, and Shawn Mullins.
Inspired by the blend of 70s classics, 80s rock, and 90s country she grew up on, Julia began performing at five and discovered her passion after seeing Carrie Underwood at the Grand Ole Opry. Since then, she’s earned Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year honors at the NACMAI Awards and built a devoted online following with millions of TikTok views. Her debut single “Girl Next Door” landed on Spotify’s Country Fresh Finds, followed by her latest release “Sweeter Times.” With more music ahead, Julia is defining a new wave of country from the West Coast — honest, soulful, and unmistakably her own.
